Privacy Policy
Effective date: August 27, 2026
Best Clock Radio and Beautiful Clock Radio do not sell personal information, track people across other apps or websites, or collect listening histories. We do not use personal information for advertising.
This Privacy Policy applies to Best Clock Radio and Beautiful Clock Radio Alarm, together called the “Apps.”
Information we receive
We receive only limited technical information needed to understand how the Apps are performing, diagnose crashes, and repair broken radio stations:
- Anonymous technical analytics and crash data. Firebase may provide general, aggregated App-usage and performance information together with crash and error reports. Technical reports may include the App version, device and operating-system type, time of the event, and information about the error or App state.
- Broken-station reports. When a radio station does not work, a report may include the station name or URL, the technical error, and the App version so that we can repair the station.
We do not attach a person’s name, email address, Apple ID, or contact information to this technical data. We do not use it to identify anyone or create a history of the stations, music, or podcasts a person listens to.
Information we do not collect
The Apps do not require a user account. We do not collect:
- names, email addresses, phone numbers, contacts, or Apple IDs;
- personal music-library contents;
- listening histories or listening profiles;
- information for targeted advertising; or
- information used to track people across other apps or websites.
If you voluntarily email support, we receive the email address, message, and attachments you choose to send so that we can respond. This information is not collected automatically by the Apps.
App features and outside services
Some App features connect directly to outside services. For example, AccuWeather processes a location request to return local weather, Apple processes App Store purchases and Apple Music requests, and radio stations, podcast publishers, and media hosts receive the requests needed to play their content. We do not receive or keep a personal listening history from those requests. These providers process information under their own privacy policies.
How we use technical information
We use anonymous technical analytics, crash reports, and broken-station reports only to:
- understand general App performance and reliability;
- find and fix crashes and other technical problems; and
- identify and repair radio stations that no longer work.
We do not sell this information or use it for advertising, personal profiling, or tracking.
Service providers
Firebase provides anonymous technical analytics and crash reporting. Google Cloud and Slack may be used to receive and manage broken-station reports. Apple, AccuWeather, Cloudflare, radio stations, podcast publishers, and media hosts provide the features requested through the Apps. These companies handle information under their own terms and privacy policies.
Retention
Crash and technical information is retained according to Firebase’s service practices. Broken-station reports are kept only as reasonably necessary to investigate and repair the station and maintain the reliability of the Apps.
The website
BeautifulClockRadio.com is hosted through GitHub Pages. GitHub and other services used to deliver website content may receive ordinary connection information, such as an IP address and browser information. We do not operate advertising trackers on the website.
Children’s privacy
The Apps are general-audience utilities and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the Apps or their services change. The revised policy and effective date will be posted on this page.
